  Nice and clean and simple with all you need for great trips up the mountain. Met Frank and I suspect if you get on his bad side he will tell you what he think...but a great guy..

  The park manager is a right prick! He charges what ever he feels, he doesn't like day visitors altho allows them, he watches every move you make and if he sees something he doesn't like he will let u know in a very rude Manor. His wife is OK tho and the park is nice and neat, clean and tidy but wouldn't go there again because of the manager.

  Though a pretty basic park the showers are hot amenities clean and just a two minute walk to the hotel.

  The park isn't a destination, but the area is and this is a good option for accommodation. The couple who run the place are "old school", cash only, no online bookings, this means that last minute cancellations are common. When we camped we were able to upgrade to powered site only after bookings hadn't arrived. I booked a cabin two nights before a long weekend. The communal kitchen and bathrooms are basic. The cabins are clean and simple, good furniture and kitchen, limited in "extras" I noticed only one saucepan and one frypan. No strainer, salad bowl or items of that sort but you don't need to cook as the pub is a good option. I'll admit that i would normally only rate this 3 stars, as the owners were very friendly and even helped me when I was locked out, the park is very basic and there's even a kind of old "thing" dump on site. I am increasing it to 4 stars as the owners don't deserve the poor ratings and this will balance it out.
